The Garmin nuvi 760 has all advanced navigational features such as widescreen display, preloaded maps, hands-free calling, traffic alerts, FM transmitter and many more. One of the biggest selling points of the 760 is its huge 4.3-inch screen. The display screen is crisp and clear even in bright sunlight and with a wide viewing angle, the images can be viewed from almost any angle.

From the moment of unpacking the box, you can start using the Garmin Nuvi 760 as it is preloaded City Navigator NT street maps. The Nuvi 760 include millions of points of interests (POIs) like restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs, hotels, attractions, entertainment, emergency services, shopping, movie theaters and many more. In order to find a destination, all you have to do is enter the name of the destination using the touchscreen and it will show you 2D or 3D maps leading to your destination. It also has a voice-mode where it dictates the directions out loud. This is extremely useful for a driver, as the driver will not have to take his eyes off the road to view the map while driving.

You can also enter your own custom points of interests such as school zones and safety cameras into the device. The Nuvi 760 also allows you to set proximity alerts in order to warn you of the upcoming points of interests. You can also keep track of yourself and the car by tapping "Where am I?" where it will automatically sort out multiple destinations in order to give you the fastest or the most efficient route.

The Garmin Nuvi 760 comes with Bluetooth wireless technology that enables you to use it as your cell phone's hands-free by using its built-in microphone and speaker. While on Bluetooth, you can also dial numbers using the touch screen keypad and by tapping the screen and answer calls using the microphone. The 760 can also receive traffic alerts and give detour directions to bypass the problematic area.
